Dinosaur 3D Mural by Rouse 66
When Dinosaurs Roamed the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center!
Rouse 66 is at it again! In celebration of their 20th anniversary, the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center in Colorado Springs, CO has undergone a huge renovation and brought in the limitless talents of Douglas Rouse to spruce up the place, and showcase his art in a free and public environment. While he’s worked on several murals in the visitor center, the main attraction is a dinosaur landscape PIA (stands for Permanent Interactive Anamorphic) painting where visitors are able to walk on, interact with, and take a selfie in front of the painting that will look like you’re actually in the dinosaur-filled landscape. I spent several weeks filming Douglas hard at work bringing this amazing piece of art to life. Now enjoy the final product!
